We're back up!

After some interesting errors from the server.  I have fixed them and the server is back up!

In other news, I'll be adding another mod or two on Tuesday, October 23rd.  These mods are Industrialcraft and Buildcraft addons.  So, remember to grab the newest update from the box.

Hello Serverlings,

Today is the day we have all been waiting for.  Its the start of a brand new world full of mods!  This will surely be an amazing server.  This time around, I am not putting together factions, but that doesn't mean that you can split off into groups yourselves.  I just want all of you to have fun and I want to see what amazing things we can build.

If you haven't already, please get in contact with me so that I set you up with what mods we are using.

Today is the day we have all been waiting for.  Tonight, at CR Gamerz, we are going to be playing the DeppQuest Industrial Version of Minecraft.  Come on in and take part on first look at what our server will be next month!

DeppQuest Tuesdays at CR Gamerz

Hello, Serverlings!

I'm excited to say that this next Tuesdays, September 25th.  We will be playing a Industrial Build of Minecraft for 1.3.2!  I have put together a good assortment of Industrial mods and I want to do a LAN Survival of this on Tuesday.

With  the switch to a more advanced Minecraft quickly approaching, this will be a great way to practice for the jump.

Simcity

By popular demand, the due date for the current server challenge will be extended until September 24th.

After this date, the sever will go down for a few days.  When it goes back up, we will be running Tekkit.

The Quest of Depp

With the Industrial Era slowly creeping upon our server, I have started to see some really interesting structures on the Overworld.  In one region, standing tall and strong is a 50 meter high stone wall.  I see that this faction is trying to claim there territory.   On the opposite side, another faction has built a sand castle and is creating an actual stone brick fortress to keep their enemies at bay.  Not to far way, stands the Fortress of Honorhold.  This Guild has accomplished alot.  Outside their stronghold, they begin construction of the city of Ravnica.  By what I am told, all guilds are welcome to the city to create guild houses and quite possibly help in writing the Legendary Guildpact.  In the Far off Far Lands, MacGerald builds the epically large Helm's Deep.  In the clouds, south of Adminville, there is a sky fortress that will onlby allow you in if you know the correct combination for the lock.  Further south, Recon has built a luxury hotel complete with social room, hot tub, and ball room.

The city challenge is ending soon.  Let your creative juices flow and build the city you can only dream of.

The Industrial Revolution is Coming....

Hey there Serverlings,

In a few weeks from now, we will be switching over to Tekkit.  Tekkit for those of you that don't know is a group of Minecraft modes that industrializes Mincraft.  If your curious, check out this link.

DeppQuest - Builds

Just a few days journey south of Adminville, you will find a lovely mansion owned by Recon.

The Front of the Mansion on a nice sunny morning.

From the front you can see that this mansion is at least 2 stories.

The Grand Entrance

The living room starts off with some elegant blue Glowstone

Come fully furnished and features a flat panel LED TV

Across from the living room is the Ballroom.

Here, we find a nice cozy study place.

Features an excellent view of the northern mountains.

Another study is found on the other side of the house.

With the upper floors still in developement, we will leave for now, but we will return when Sir Recon finishes his epic mansion.

The End and Back Again....

Wow..... With 13 days still on the clock, Team "A Common Sugary Assassin" managed to find the Stronghold, obtain Eyes of Ender, Travel to the End, and defeat the Legendary Ender Dragon. Amazing!  They have just won themselves an additional 4 Chunks of Guild Safezone.  Congratulations!

So.... I expected this challenge to take 2 weeks.... Now I will have to find a new Challenge.

-----Server Challenge 5----- 

Journey out into the great unknown and found a brand new city.  And When I say journey, I mean no closer than 4,000 blocks from Adminville.  Here, you will need to create the following locations inside your city.

• Town Hall - 50 Points
• Marketplace - 20 Points plus 2 Points per vender.
• Festival Square - 15 Points
• Pathways (Roads) - 
• 100 Points for Diamonds 
• 15 Points for Brick
• 10 Points for Stone 
• 5 Points for Gravel
• Faith Hall - 10 Points
• Tavern - 10 Points
• City Housing - 5 Points than 2 Points for each additional house.
• Surrounding Farms - 3 Points Each
• Streetlamps - 1 Point Each
• Finished Interiors - 1 Point Each

This Challenge is due by noon on Monday, September 10th.  The winning team will receive an additional chunk of Guild Safezone and a super Extra Special Prize.  Good Luck and let this Challenge begin.

Minecraft Tuesdays at CR Gamerz

Hello Serverlings, this is your Overseer.  Here again to tell you about the server wide games this Tuesday.  This week we will be doing Survival Games.  If you haven't seen Hunger Games, you should get on it, because that's what were doing.

Remember, CR Gamerz is doing $10 all-day passes to Minecraft players.

Playing the Game of Thrones

Hello Serverlings!  This is the Overseer, here to tell you about your epic next quest.  Starting today, I will give you all two weeks to slay the mythical Ender Dragon.  This legendary beast resides in the homeworld of the Enderman.  But your first challenge will be to find the Strongholds in the area to locate the End Portals.  If you succeed with this quest, you will earn your guild an additional two chunk by two chunk guild safe zone and I will build you an Iron Throne.  I know that most of you weaklings aren't up to the challenge.  I wish you luck.

LAN Game Day

Hello Crafters,
On Tuesday, August 14th, I would like to invite all of you to CR Gamerz to Minecraft all night.  I, the Overseer, will be arriving around 6pm to start my gaming.

Also that evening, I will the throwing our first server event.  Spleef is on the mind and each faction should recruit their best spleefer to throw them into the arena.  The last man standing will win an extra quarter chunk (8x8) of guild safezone.

Come on out and enjoy a night of intense mining and crafting.

Weekly Challenge #1

This week the challenge is to make a monument for your guild in Adminville.  The winning guild will receive an additional Quarter Chunk of protected guild land, 2 guild reward points, and 2 blocks of bedrock.
